Announcement: New Head of D2!

Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing great. I'm back home for the weekend and actually am making this post on the first computer that I used with BHL, so I'm kind of nostalgic.

But mostly, I'm feeling pretty excited about the future of BHL, and for the first time in a while, I think that you all should too. A few days ago, KrazieX messaged me and asked me if we had any plans for the Diablo 2 section. I told him that sadly, we did not, and then I laid out for him just how difficult it would be for him if he had plans for our D2 section. I told him about all the obstacles we faced as a clan, and how the majority of us did not have time to play.

He doesn't care. Krazie told me that he and some friends are really looking to get into D2, and want to represent BHL and lead us back to the greatness that we had before real life got in the way. But why should this be any different from any of other false starts you say? Well, I thought the same thing too, until I saw that he had actually made steps to improve our section before I could even reply to his message.

That he was willing to do this in spite of the tremendous amount of effort that its going to require shows me that he's ready for this responsibility, and I've given him the ability to do anything he needs to do to make this happen. Sam (Simple6t9) is going to be backing him up, so I really don't see how this...

Announcement: Tell me how you're all doing

Hey everyone, its been a really long time since I've talked to alot of you and I wanted to check in with you guys and see how life has been treating you and how you're all doing. So post about what you've been doing, how your summer has been, anything that's on your mind.

I've recently joined the working world, which kinda sucks. I'm getting paid to do research by SMU who is in turn getting paid to pay me by the government, so that's been kind of cool. I've had to do alot of work programming and coding, which can be kind of a pain in the ass but I'm getting paid and I like what I'm doing. I've been stuck in Dallas pretty much the entire summer, but I'm heading to San Diego for comic con pretty soon so that'll be bitching. Yeah, I'm still a massive nerd.

I've also moved into an apartment with my two buddies, so I'm living on my own now which is fantastic. Once I secure a camera I'll be sure to post some pictures of my place. If anyones in Dallas you should give me a call and come chill or something.

I also just want to say that I've been doing alot of thinking about BHL and its future. I realize we're kind of dead at the moment, but I don't think that its because we've grown apart. I think its mostly because there just aren't any games that we all still enjoy playing enough to play together. I'm looking really forward to starcraft 2 and cod2 (and diablo 3 ofco...

Someone screwed up the forums so that GD was showing up in news.

I'm going to blame Luka as he's a dirty Texan.

Announcement: New General Trading Forum with Trusted Mediators

Since the swap meet was gone on EoN I had non stop harassment from people begging me to do something, so eventually I got annoyed enough and caved in, lol. Anyways, I made sure the site would be well ran, and have enough active and trusted mediators to make sure you will not get scammed unless you choose not to contact a mediator.

Oh, also cash sales such as selling jsp FG is allowed, and there is a reputation system built in so you know if your dealing with a reliable person without any effort.

The website is www.Area51Trades.com we're pretty much finished, at least enough that people can start using it now.

If you're looking for a place to trade, or need another place to post your trades hopefully you can find this useful.

If you have any suggestions or input about or for the site, please post.

Announcement: "New" Head of D2 and D2 officers

Hey all of you glorious, beautiful people.

So I figured that it was time we got some formal leadership going in the D2 system. Actually, Buzz and Blazed both messaged me at the same time and I wasn't able to shirk my responsiblities any longer. I guess thats what being a father does to you, it makes you into an overbearing pole smoker who makes other people actally put forth effort and do things.

So I sat in my chair, perplexed that I had been outwitted in such a manner and decided that it was time for me to actually do something productive. Hence this thread. Hence Buzz being head of D2 again. Hence Blazed, Tatsumi, Smiley, AmericasArmy, and Buzz being recruiters/D2 officers. Just kidding about Smiley, he's not.

So now you all have a form of structured leadership on these here forums that you can obey. Remember that they are the right hand of the BHL 3rd reich and that they are empowered by me to crush any and all opposition. and Smiley.

If anyone else on D2 is active, plays alot, has been playing for a while, and is interested in being a D2 leader let me know or let Buzz know. Preferrably both. Except for Smiley, he doesn't get to be a leader.

So everyone congratulate these wonderful men who are putting their lives on the line every day at the front line of BHL's bloody struggle for cyber dominance.
